		Product Warranty

		Products you order from FlexWeighDirect come with a manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty information is provided in the packaging with the product. It is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the terms of the warranty. If a warranty registration card is provided, it is important to fill that out and return it to the manufacturer in order to validate your warranty. Generally, the product warranty will cover what proves to be a defect in manufacturing workmanship or materials that caused the product to cease functioning properly. If the cause of a product’s failure to continue operating properly is due to abuse, misuse or negligence the failure will not be covered by warranty. It is very easy for the manufacturer to determine if the failure is caused by a manufacturing defect or by something the user should / shouldn’t have done. Warranty claims are honored after inspection by the manufacturer. Instructions for a product’s return shipment to the manufacturer for warranty evaluation are usually included as part of the warranty information that comes packaged with the product. Keep in mind the manufacturer almost always requires a pre-authorization for you to return a product. We do not recommend that you ever return a product without a Return Materials Authorization from the manufacturer. Briefly state the product model that pertains to your question, and simply state your request. Provide a daytime phone number in case we want to talk to you personally. We will respond to your request within 1 normal working day.

		Cancellations and Returns

		Orders may be cancelled without penalty any time prior to shipment. Once the product’s shipment tracking number has been issued, the item is considered shipped. Products may be returned for reasons other than Product Warranty providing the purchaser understands: The product must be unused, unscratched and undamaged; and returned in its original shipping container in exactly the condition it was received. The product will not be accepted for return without a Return Material Authorization from FlexWeighDirect. The Return Material Authorization must be requested within 7 days of product receipt. A restocking fee of 20% is applied to the return, plus the original shipping costs to the purchaser. Credit is applied after inspection of the returned product. Additional restocking charges may be applied if the return doesn’t represent the same condition as new. Additional charges may be up to (and including) original product cost. The purchaser will be notified before any additional charges are applied. To get a Return Materials Authorization from FlexWeighDirect, contact us at infodirect@flexweigh.com. Briefly state that you wish to return a product within the conditions listed above. Please provide the Order Number and item you wish to return, and the reason for return. FlexWeighDirect will respond to your email with the RMA and shipping instructions.

		Payment and Information Security

		Products may be purchased from FlexWeighDirect via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or through your personal PayPal account. To assure your confidence of maximum security when sharing credit card information, FlexWeighDirect transfers all financial transactions directly to PayPal for merchant servicing once you have completed your shopping cart. FlexWeighDirect never sees your credit card information, nor do we have any intention to obtain it. For some occasions, other payment terms can be arranged with FlexWeighDirect. 		Sales Tax

		California state sales tax will be added to orders shipped to within California.

		Shipment and Confirmations

		All parcel shipments are forwarded via UPS. The shipping charges are calculated for you when viewing your shopping cart, after you have entered your zip code. You have the option of upgrading your standard UPS Ground shipping to 3rd Day, 2nd Day or Next Day delivery. Simply click on your preference. Again, the rates are calculated for you. Your order confirmation should be received by your email minutes after completing the payment transaction. Shipments are usually “on their way” within 3 business days. When the product(s) ship, you will be provided the tracking number(s) via email. Shipments returned to origin because of insufficient or incorrect delivery information will be assessed the 20% restocking charge, plus twice the original order’s shipping charge.
